Portraits for free
I will construct a portable portrait table with the title: portraits for free, where the people passing the street can sit and i will paint their portrait.
The portrait won’t be the primary goal of the action, more the ´sitting together`, the dialogue, or some try for a dialogue, and the final reaction, when i will show them a portrait. I wish to have the camera on static, that will record them during the making of portrait until the reaction to the picture. The background will be all the time the street. (Ribeira square)
Retratos de graça
Eu vou construir uma mesa de retratos portátil com o título: retratos de graça, onde as pessoas que passam na rua possam sentar-se para que eu lhes pinte o retrato.
Este não será o objectivo da acção mas o sentarmo-nos juntos, o diálogo, ou a tentativa de diálogo, e a reacção final quando lhes mostrar o retrato. Planeio ter uma câmara estática, que os gravará enquanto o retrato é feito até à reacção final à pintura. O cenário será sempre a rua. (Praça da Ribeira)
